ABOUT M, Design is what I do! These are the tools that God has given me to be able to display my vision as well as my clients. I absolutely love designing, photography, and video production. It gives me pleasure to take some ideas and bring them to life from concept to the finished product. I believe that everyone has a purpose, you just have to find what that purpose is in your life. I found my purpose in 2009 when I found design. All my adult life I had worked in the labor industry doing construction and landscaping (back-breaking work). However, I was never happy and I hated going to work every day.
In 2008, I accepted Christ as my personal savior and my life changed completely. Prior to starting my designing career, I was in the music industry doing (Christian Rap) and needed an album cover design. I reached out to a friend (Kre8tor) who asked me...Why are you going to pay somebody to design something that you can do yourself? I thought about this question over and over again in my head and I asked myself...How can I do this myself? Another friend gave me Photoshop CS4, and the rest is history.
I remember (Kre8tor) told me if you really want to learn look at tutorials from other creators. So, every day I would spend 12-16 hours a day on YouTube University learning the craft of design. I bought myself a notebook I would write notes from every tutorial that I watched. After, 1 year I started putting in work making composite work and practicing my craft every single day. Finally, I had found my purpose in life. I absolutely fell in love with designing and from that love grew this passion for designing that prompted me to go to school and earn a degree in digital design from The Art Institute, which opened the door for me to do what I love for a living. I continue to work on my crafted learning more every day and continue to practice doing graphic design for my local community at the time which was in Lawton, Oklahoma.
In 2013, my family and I moved to Stuttgart, Germany, where I landed a job working for the government as a Graphic Arts Designer with Family and MWR. I had the privilege to design "The 2013 Stuttgart Army Ball" which was the 239th Army Birthday. I made an impact in the Stuttgart, community and in 2016 it got noticed by the Garrison Commander at the time Col. Glenn K. Dickenson. I worked together with Col. Dickenson, and I designed an amazing award coin that contained everything the Colonel asked for. It was one of the proudest moments in my career.
At the end of 2016, my family and I moved again this time to Sagamihara, Japan. I quickly began to spread the word about my graphic design services which I started to do work in the local military base. After a couple of months in Japan, I went to a car dealer to purchase a car and developed a friendship with the owner Mazeen. I let him know that I could help him increased his business so he trusted me. I began to work transforming his entire business by re-branding the entire look of his company from the logo to creating a website with a complete car inventory to make it easier for customers to browse vehicles before going to the dealer (www.wellchamcars.com). I also made a commercial for the business (video work), promotional banners, dealer flags, t-shirts, car wraps, stickers, office advertisements as well as promotional flyers, and social media presence which increased sales from an average of 20 cars a month to about 35 cars a month almost double the number of vehicles sold.
Living in Japan, was a very good experience not only cultural but also artistic wise that thought me that no matter where you at in life, no matter the language barrier, no matter the obstacles you encounter, if you put your trust in God, work hard and persevere you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
So, in 2018 M-DESIGNZ LLC, was officially established with the help of the internet I am able to serve not only the local community but also the world bringing the same amazing designs to all my customers.
After living abroad for over 6 years (Stuttgart, Germany & Sagamihara, Japan) I now reside in the San Antonio area, and I am looking to expand my client base to include local graphic design, photography, and video needs.
